What are alternate contacts?

Once you’ve uploaded or manually created a hosted database contact in Manage Hosted Contacts, you can modify a contact, and go to the Alternate Contacts tab to add someone else who should be called if the main contact does not answer.  Just click Set and search for the alternate contact to add (the alternate contact must be someone else in your hosted database).  This alternate contact will only be called if the call to the main contact resulted in something other than an answer by a person or answering machine/voicemail.
